"People make a company. You are Cornelius." was the governing quote for this whole project from Cornelius chairman Dr. Neville Prior, which was our focus when tasked with designing a new employee handbook and supporting materials to help drive Cornelius Values forward.
Cornelius needed a way to achieve their vision and continue valuing their strong, caring relationships with key stakeholders – their employees, customers, suppliers, industry bodies and communities.
It was clear before we even put pencil to paper that the traditional 'Our Mission' format, usually favoured in business, would not be in keeping with the Cornelius ethos. As a result, a more friendly and illustrative approach was implemented that would reach out and engage employees, be adaptable across different media and offer some 'standout' from the primary customer-focused Cornelius branding.
Fully bespoke vector illustrations were drawn, each tailored to the Cornelius 'Vision, Mission & Values' journey, with milestone deliverables produced to meet strategic deadlines within the company. A printed handbook, posters and inspiration boards were designed to help support senior management in delivering their messages to both new and existing employees, whilst not detracting from recent and ongoing brand focus.
